Characteristics and applications of different grades of brown corundum

Brown corundumAbrasives can be divided into three grades and five echelons according to the level of alumina content. Among them, primary brown corundum and secondary brown corundum are the most commonly used abrasive products in industry.
The grades of brown corundum mainly include: first-class brown corundum, second-class brown corundum, second-class brown corundum, second-level brown corundum and tertiary brown corundum species, and the alumina content of each echelon brown corundum grade differs by about 5%.
The appearance and use of different grades of brown corundum abrasives are also very different due to their different chemical composition. Among them, taking first-class brown corundum as an example, the appearance of the product is brown-red particles, which is mainly used in high-grade refractories, precision polishing and grinding of precision workpieces, etc.

Secondary and secondary brown corundum are mainly used for polishing, grinding, grinding wheel production, sandblasting of large workpieces, etc.
